Global Response Management was created to bring emergency pre-hospital care and training to those living in, or displaced from, conflict zones, operating in high-risk areas where others cannot. Their network of experienced medical personnel is dedicated to working with and training local populations in trauma and pre-hospital care. By working with medical professionals from a variety of backgrounds, they bring a diverse team to populations in critical need. They have deployed Butterfly iQs to their Matamoros, Mexico field station where 750+ asylum seekers live in dreadful conditions without access to medical care. The Global Response Management team uses the iQs to provide basic medical care to asylum seekers and refugees. One boy with appendicitis was turned away from the local Matamoros hospital with Tums. By using the iQ to capture an image of the bursting appendix, the Global Response team was able to have the child admitted to the United States and receive the life saving care he needed.
