“Our mission is to democratise healthcare by making medical imaging accessible to everyone around the world.”
— Jonathan M. Rothberg
Founder, Butterfly Network
From underserved communities within the United States to remote areas of Africa, 4.7 billion people around the world lack access to medical imaging¹. We put ultrasound on a chip and created the world’s first handheld whole-body imager. Fusing semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and cloud technology has made it possible to usher in a new era of healthcare with a device that costs only $2,699.
We support organizations domestically and globally who are using Butterfly devices in limited-resource settings to create sustainable healthcare solutions. Through our internal Global Health program and by partnering with aid-granting organizations that allow us to amplify our impact, we are providing discounted devices, software, and training services to clinicians around the world. Access to imaging used to be a luxury. We’re changing that.
